Paula,
Thank you so much for helping me with my mare, through your
training she is showing her potential and is doing better than ever in
her competitions. You never cease to
amaze me with your knowledge of exercises to fix problems and your keen
eye for detail from the ground when it feels terrific from on board but
then you are still looking for perfection.
Your commitment for us to do well makes me feel that I should
work as equally as hard and makes me practise at home and come for
training on a weekly basis.......

I sent my horse Fanta to Paula whilst I went on holiday.
It's a lovely yard with friendly staff, a nice calm atmosphere and
Fanta settled very quickly. Paula rode him for me every day and the
improvement in his way of going was amazing. I have since had
lessons with Paula and my competition results are improving in leaps and
bounds. I would definitely send Fanta to stay again and will
continue to have lessons with her in the future. Caroline

I was quickly impressed
by Gemsbrook. The yard is run efficiently and horses are happy.
Having not ridden
seriously for over fifteen years I needed the right sort of person to get
me back on track. In Paula, I have
found just that, a hugely knowledgeable rider and trainer she has
patiently answered so many of my questions and continues to be a huge
source of encouragement.
I always leave
Gemsbrook feeling that I have learnt something new and a step closer to

I have known Paula and
Julie for over 3 years, during that time I have had regular lessons at
Gemsbrook with my TB mare Poppy. The facilities are always well
maintained and you can have your lesson whatever the weather because of
the good surfaces and indoor/outdoor schools. I always enjoy my lessons
and my horse has steadily improved and we moved from unaffiliated to
affiliated competitions. I was always very happy to leave Poppy
with Paula when I went on holiday, knowing that my horse would be well
cared for and I would come back to a horse that had been greatly improved
by Paula’s personal training. I especially enjoyed having back to
back sessions over a Bank Holiday when you can really feel the
improvement gained from consistent schooling over a 3 day period.

With Paula’s training
and encouragement I have progressed up the grades, qualifying for the
regional’s and being well placed each season. Going from prelim to Medium in 2
